#1 Harry Potter Fan

I have been reading Harry Potter books with my dad since the beginning of third grade. I am in the end of fourth grade and I am reading the sixth book, The Half Blood Prince. Personally I do not  know who my favorite character is. The author, J.K. Rowling, lived in England (Which I love) and is now rich and has a mansion in Ireland (I am irish). I have read her biography and she is a lot like me  and have the same background. I don't just like the book because the author but also because of the book. I am not aloud to watch PG 13 movies so I have only watched book 1,2 and three. After I am done with  the sixth book we can watch the movie because it is PG. Almost everybody I know have watched only the movies but not the book! I think the book is way better and it can help your reading skills. After I read  all the books I am thinking of reading the Pearcy Jackson series. When I turn 19 I want to go to England, but I have to go where Jesus injures me to go.

  3. When your parents were dating, they would read Harry Potter out loud to each other, too! Here is a truth about me: I have fallen asleep in EVERY Harry Potter movie I have seen--all 7 of them. I fall asleep when I watch movies with a lot of action and pretty music. I hope you like the movies! I have read the 1st Percy Jackson, but I like the Fablehaven series a lot better. You caught your parents' love for reading!

I think my favorite characters are: Sirius, Ron and Snape (but the snape part is only understood after all the books are read :)Who's your favorite?

I never knew my mom and dad use to do that! It is true I love reading I have read some of the Fablehaven books when I was little with my dad too. My friend is insane for the Percy Jackson series. I am going to read them after the Harry Potter books. I have watched the first book of Percy Jackson at her house, it was SO cool

  7. Elizabeth, Harry Potter is awesome! Have you heard of Pottermore.com? It is an interactive website JK Rowling created to give even more information about the characters, creatures, and story. She has only released books one, two, and part of three. It's super fun because along with all the fun story information, you get sorted into a house of Hogwarts, you get a wand, and you can brew potions and duel other house members for house points. I hope you do get to go to England and Ireland someday. I would also suggest visiting Scotland. I've been there twice (to both England and Scotland) and they are just as wonderful as you imagine.

  9. Hi! My friend just loooves harry potter! I liked it, but it wasn't my favorite. However, I loved Percy Jackson! There is an add-on series too it, also. it's called Heroes of Olympus. it has the original characters like Annabeth and percy, but a lot of really awesome characters, too! Just be warned: the movie isn't much like the book! but it is still awesome!
